With spring slowly pushing back the last of winter’s stubborn snowbanks, Boulder Publications is launching a new field guide to welcome the upcoming growing season. Boulder will launch Todd Boland’s Wildflowers and Ferns of Newfoundland Wednesday, April 12 at the MUN Botanical Garden from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Wildflowers and Ferns of Newfoundland is an authoritative guide to 600 native and introduced species of wildflowers and ferns found on the island of Newfoundland. This is the latest in Boulder’s highly acclaimed series of field guides, which features hundreds of colour photographs, along with page tabs and visual aids for easy identification of wild plants.
